PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY
A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions.
Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet. It is continued in the dental office by the efforts of your dentist and dental hygienist to promote, restore, and maintain your oral health.
Prevention also includes regular dental exams, cleanings, and x-rays. Sealants and fluoride are also great preventive treatments that help protect the teeth.
Prevention helps avoid serious and costly dental problems and is the key to having a healthy, confident, beautiful smile.
What preventive procedures are available?
Comprehensive Dental Exams & Cleanings.
Digital X-Rays and Intraoral Digital Images:
We use reliable and versatile digital technology and computer-based components instead of mechanical or electric processes to capture digital data during the patient examination and transfer it to a computer for immediate evaluation.
Brush & Floss Education:
Brushing and flossing helps prevent oral diseases and several dental health conditions like tooth decay, halitosis, and gingivitis.
Fluoride Treatments:
The fluoride helps to build strong teeth and prevents cavities. Fluoride is especially helpful if you have high risks of dental caries or cavities.
Oral Screening for Early Discovery of Abnormalities:
We use wireless technology that uses natural tissue fluorescence to provide a view of your mouth, including a detailed look of angles hard to see with the eye. This technology helps to visualize oral mucosal abnormalities, including oral cancer, that may not be apparent or even visible to the naked eye.

RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY
“Our goal is to preserve your natural teeth as much as possible by restoring your mouth to a functional and aesthetic state. Depending on your needs, we can perform a direct restoration by placing a filling into a prepared tooth cavity or an indirect restoration by customizing tooth replacements with crowns, inlays, outlays, or implants. Our advanced, in-office dental technology offers you single-visit custom crowns and more.”
What restorative procedures are available?
Dental Implants:
Dental implants replace tooth roots with metal, screw-like posts placed in your jawbone that bond with your natural bone and replaces damaged or missing teeth with artificial teeth that look and function like real ones. Artificial tooth roots are placed in your jawbone that bond with your natural bone. They become the base to support artificial teeth called
crowns. In general, dental implants have a high success rate and, with proper care, can last a lifetime.
There are many advantages to dental implants, including improved appearance, improved speech, easier eating, improve self-esteem, Improved oral health, and more.
Porcelain Crowns:
With CEREC, we can prepare your seriously damaged or decayed tooth in just one visit, then make the dental restoration right in our office in as little as one hour and virtually eliminate the gum. Same-day CEREC crowns restore the function of your teeth almost immediately, fits perfectly, removes the need for temporary crowns, and require less drilling, saving most of your tooth.
Ceramic Inlays:
A high-quality single fabricated piece with a specific shape, size, and the natural tooth-like color is used when the cavity’s extent is too large for a single filling and bonded to the tooth. Inlays create a tough and durable surface for chewing, and it is a reliable long-term solution.
Ceramic Onlays:
High-quality single fabricated piece with a specific shape, size, and natural tooth-like color. The onlay is typically more than an inlay, but not quite a crown; it is fabricated as a single, solid piece to fit the specific
shape and size of the cavity and involves one or more cusps.
Composite fillings:
Essential dental restoration with a composite of a decayed tooth structure. Composite fillings provide good durability and resistance to fracture in small-to-mid-size filings that need to withstand moderate pressure from the constant stress of chewing. They are a good option for people who prefer that their fillings look more natural.
